Dyneema has been around for some time but is just starting to catch on in the cruising community. It has a wide range of uses such as lifelines, soft shackles, chain plates and standing rigging. The biggest challenge is it is still difficult to find an installer. Using Dyneema over stainless has its benefits like value, longevity, and safety.
